Quick Highlights
Yep…It’s Tax Time!!
If you gave identified contributions to MCCL during 2012, your annual tax statement will be available for pick up this Sunday and next. If you can’t make arrangements to pick it up during this time, please contact the Office to make other arrangements to receive it. As always, we appreciate you making MCCL the place where you entrust your financial contributions to God’s work.
Choir Practice has resumed!
Last Wednesday night at 7pm the MCCL Choir resumed practice for the 2013 Winter and Spring Season. If you are not a current member of the choir and would like to join, please see Rom Hampton, Music Director.
Board Meeting Minutes
If you are interested in keeping up with the business side of MCCL the latest Minutes from the December Board of Directors Meeting has been posted on the Leadership Gallery Board in the auditorium. Also, they have posted a graph of the offering and attendance during 2012, which you might find interesting.
The Screens of Prayer Candles
If you have a special prayer for which you would like to light a candle, each Sunday morning after the Alter Guild has finished preparing the sanctuary for worship, you may come up on the dais and do so prior to the Sharing of Song. If this is an unknown practice to you, but you would like to know more, please feel free to ask to speak to one of our Deacons. The prayer candles will burn during the worship service, but will be distinguished following the Benediction.
***DARE TO CARE FOOD BARREL***
Thanks so much to all those bringing in food items. Please remember the Dare to Care food barrel in the auditorium. This time of year is especially difficult for some people and the food banks are running low. If everyone brought in 1 or 2 cans of food just think of the difference that could make.
Non-Perishable food items ONLY!
LGBT Christian singer, Marcus Young, will be singing a solo on Sunday morning, February 10th during the worship service at MCC Louisville. See Community Happenings for his appearances elsewhere while in town.

Attendance Tracking
Remember to take your tag each week.
Please Notice:
While name tags are facilitating our membership tracking of attendance, they are also useful in putting names with faces in our fellowship. If you are regular in attendance but not a member of the church we think others would enjoy knowing your name as well. If you would like to have a tag for identification please sign up at the table located near the current tag display in the auditorium.
If you are a guest- we encourage you to fill out one of the “Guest” tags to help us welcome you in a more special way. One of our ushers or a tag-wearing member will be delighted to accompany you to the tag display.
From the Kitchen
Reminder: The Deacons, the Board, Choir and Photo Club will begin providing three people to assist in cleaning up the dining area and kitchen following the fellowship meal. Any others who would like to help are more than welcome. Thank you.
